How I tried to choose wrist watches
Have you ever thought about the power of advertising in modern world? I think that at present it’s almost everywhere: every day we see and hear a lot of advertisements on the TV sets, in the underground, on billboards, in newspapers and in the public transport. Today it’s almost impossible to imagine our lives without advertisements. Don’t you think so?
The principal objective of advertisers is to attract your attention and then to make you buy this or that product whether you like it or not. There are intrusive advertisements for example those on the TV; in such a case you understand the aims of advertisers and it’s more difficult for them to make you buy their product. The only way to make you buy it is to persuade you with the help of logical arguments that you really need it. But there is another type of advertising, I mean secret advertisements. Have you ever paid attention to a great amount of sweeties and other small and more often unnecessary things near the cash desks in supermarkets? It goes without saying that while standing in a long queue and examining all these goods you will certainly buy at least one. As experiments show this trick works with 97% of customers!
Even if you know all these tricks sometimes it’s very hard to resist temptation. I know these tricks very well, but for example nearly a month ago when I was passing near a shop with watches my attention was attracted by a poster in its window. It was a simple poster but at the same time very magnificent: a beautiful young girl put her head on the arm with watches and was looking into the distance. There was nothing extraordinary in this poster but I think that it appealed to my heart; and I decided to come in.
I wanted to buy watches before I saw that poster and I decided that it was a good moment. In the shop an assistant showed me a lot of models of watches, he offered me to shop luxury Bedat watches, he suggested purchasing original wrist watches cheap (he said a lot of people come to their shop for wrist watches shopping because they really have reasonable prices). All the watches were very nice, but when I saw a pair of earrings I understood that pearl earring bargain was what I really needed that day.
I bought those earrings without thinking over and I’m satisfied with my buying till the very moment!
